Nicholas asked:
I sold a house in April and I have a sub-contractor who was not paid by the general contractor I hired. Apparently, the general contractor I paid kept the money and did not pay sub-contractors. Can the sub-contractor place a lien on my house even though I sold it?

Thanks.

Also-
Title was cleared when I sold the property in April. I no longer own this house. So can he place a lien and if so, how does that effect me?
